There are to types of icons. Shortcut Icons just lead you to the program or file. They can be identified by small arrow on
the bottom left of the icon. If you delete these, you will not delete the
program in the computer.
Object icons are the actual object. With this type of icon, if you delete it,
you delete the actual object.
